obscura

in the darkroom, we used an easel and placed a piece of photographic paper on it. this easel was facing a window that had a black cover over it, and a flap that hid a tiny hole behind it. we then held the flap open for varying measures of time (e.g 30seconds), exposing the paper to light. the first set came out over-exposed, the second under-exposed and the third just right. the original image (the first in every sequence), came out flipped and inverted due to us using a camera obscura to obtain it. the second image in the sequence is when we have flipped it back and inverted it again to make a typical-looking monochrome image.
