GRAFFITI DEVELOPMENTS
I decided to develop my Manchester graffiti photos further by taking out parts of them to make the graffiti stand out. Then, I used inspiration from Andreas Gursky to put together a 3metre collage of graffiti from Manchester, Liverpool and Sheffield. As this turned out well, I did a similar thing with the scanner photos from Stage 4, and collaged them together to make them one long print that will be hanging as an installation in my exhibition. I chose the scanner print for my exhibition, as I thought it was compositionally stronger.

PROCESS
I had the idea of creating a 'cut-out' graffiti image on procreate on my iPad, where i drew around specific parts of the graffiti. I started by mapping out what parts I wanted to be white, then filled them out in white, took away the separating lines and used the mask i created to put another image underneath
