I turned the photograms that I made in stage 2 into stickers using a CriCut, and took them into Manchester to photograph them against graffiti.

Before starting on A4 pieces of photographic paper, I trialled my ideas on some A5 pieces. First, I used the same technique as I did in Stage 2. Then I tried to make patterns with the acetate pieces, which didn't turn out exactly how I wanted. Finally, I decided to make it more central, and use square signs, which I thought was effective.

These are the A4 photograms. The first two are similar to Stage 2, and with the third I exposed it for 2.5seconds, then moved the acetate slightly and exposed for the same time again to give this effect. I then decided to arrange the acetates so they fit next to each other nicely. On the 7th image, I tried to merge two acetates together with multiple exposures, but it didn't work out as well as I envisioned. For the last 3 images, I made a fitted collage of the signs, making sure they all fit together nicely. For the last image I decided to not double-expose it, as I wanted the overall image to be clear.
