BRANDING

I decided to look at a design agency called Monopo to influence me and kickstart my work.

MONOPO CRITICAL LINK

I found that Monopo's 'Presight Partners' project resonated with me as I thought I could use some inspiration from their shapes in my contemporary yet retro electronics company design.

FONT, LOGO + IDENTIFIER HUNTING

For the logo, I was initially inspired by the 'on' symbol of appliances, and when I found the font 'moderniz' worked with my idea, I started developing the logo. The final logo ended up being inspired by wires wrapping around the words, and the identifier was created by playing around with the 'o' in 'electronics'.

BRAND GUIDELINES + EXAMPLE OF PAIRING

For the primary colour scheme, I have chosen a mid and darker blue to accompany black and white. I decided to keep the color scheme minimal, as I want the focus to be on my designs and I think that blue ties in with technology and appliances well, whilst keeping a professional and authentic outlook, which is further perpetuated by the tones of blue I have chosen,
